MANILA - Del Monte Pacific Limited bagged regulatory approval for the dual listing of its shares by way of introduction in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
Del Monte's shares are already listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX). Dual listings boost liquidity of the shares and give investors food items in india the flexibility to choose where they can trade their shares.
Del Monte aims to commence the trading of its shares on the PSE by June 10. The actual listing date will be determined upon the company’s compliance with the PSE's pre-listing requirements, the local bourse said.
Del Monte operates as a holding firm for its subsidiaries, which are principally engaged in growing, processing, and selling canned food items in india and fresh pineapples, pineapple juice concentrate, tropical mixed fruit, tomato-based products, beverage products and certain other food products mainly under the brand names of Del Monte, S&W and Today’s.
Subsidiary Del Monte Philippines Inc operates the world’s largest fully-integrated pineapple operation with its 23,000-hectare plantation in Mindanao, over 700,000-ton processing capacity and a port beside the cannery.
