How sweet it is After cooking and taste testing the McCain Sweet Potato Superfries I wondered how easy (or hard) it would be to just slice up and cook my own sweet potato fries. So in my cooking repertoire I used the newly discovered Cold Oil Cooking Method and gave it a go with some rustically cut sweet potato. It ended up taking about 25-30 minutes I think until the fries were visually browned and cooked enough to my satisfaction. They're probably food items of india not the most good looking chips but they ended up having more crispiness than what I could achieve with the packaged chips. Leaving some of the skin on was a bonus because it added some fine layers of crunchiness due to crisping up really well. SNAPSHOT REVIEW: PROS: No nasty oil splattering when cooking with this method, Easy recipe to cook sweet potato chips CONS: Keep watching and moving the chips from time to time so they don't stick to the bottom of the pot MUST TRY: Use the cold oil cooking method to avoid deep frying splatters — Deep fried sweet potato fries, Chef Leong :-)

hi yaya, hope you get to try this method yourself. hi kristy, i thought they'd get oily the first time i tried but surprising they don't for some strange food items of india reason. i can't explain why. a fish and chip shop actually has more oily chips than this. you must give it a go. hi laura, thanks! i think i prefer cooking potatoes instead but i know i should eat more sweet potato. hi thanh, it will be interesting to see if deep frying them will turn out better. i'm not sure if the cold oil method will work for the packaged chips but give it a go for freshly cut potatoes and sweet potato. hi sarah, food items of india hope you get to try it out and let me know how it goes for you :-) i think it's pretty food items of india easy and fool proof. http://mccain.com.au Yes, they are orange chips Thanks to Sophie Hohnen from Fleishman-Hillard for approaching Simon Food Favourites to try the new McCain Sweet Potato Thin Cut and Crinkle Cut Superfries atlamajalcingo del monte . I've heard that sweet potato is possibly healthier than potatoes and also has less carbs so I was keen to give them a try. The easy open bag lived up to it's name and had perforations that easily tore apart where they should — very well designed. atlamajalcingo del monte Now, the cooking instructions says 'Preheat oven and baking tray to 230ºC (210ºC fan forced) for 10 minutes' which for me I read as once the oven is turned on for 10 minutes you then put the chips in, even though the oven might not have reached 230ºC in that 10 minutes but my dad thought it should reach 230ºC first and then wait 10 minutes before putting the chips in. I ended up trying both ways and it pretty much provided the same result atlamajalcingo del monte in the end but I'm tending the think the hotter the oven the better. Perhaps I'm the only one that finds this instruction a little unclear? If you're not a fan of sweet potato then you probably won't like these anyway. I'm not a huge fan of sweet potato myself but I love crispy potato chips. Unfortunately I wasn't able to achieve a very crispy and crunchy chip as they tend to suggest in the TV ad I saw during MasterChef. Nevertheless they do taste like sweet potato and my family and I tended to prefer the thin cut over the crinkle cut due to looking more natural and ended up having slightly more crunchy bits. After my third cooking attempt over the weekend I've grown more use to the taste although I think I'd like them more if they had a really good crunch factor as well which I expect atlamajalcingo del monte from chips — perhaps a super thin cut style would help achieve this. Shame they didn't crisp up. The Counter in Crows Nest serves atlamajalcingo del monte sweet potato fries which were very crispy from memory. Have you been to Foster's Hollywood? If so sure incoming I have asked these fries, I tried to make them at home with ingredients that I thought I had and did not give with it, but thanks to a buddy who has ratted me the recipe, here are the left and hope you like.
- Once ready the potatoes and season them prepare the dish (if better ceramic) to put it in the oven. Put the potatoes, a splash of ranchero sauce, grated cheese and then over the chopped monte bay bacon.
- We left it in the oven for about 8 minutes, turning the upper part only 220º, we will monitor that does not burn, but trying the cheese is well melted and especially the bacon is crisp.
I've never been to Foster's Hollywood, and I have not eaten his potatoes, but do not think they are as good as you have prepared. I note the recipe, I will use potatoes lifetime, of course. Greetings
PT is unsurpassed, lack buy ranchera sauce, which I assume is a must, but I say to you that makes you want to eat right now a bunch of potatoes.

Alheira is one of my favourite types of Portuguese meat sausage. One of the most common ways to eat

Alheira is one of my favourite types of Portuguese meat sausage. One of the most common ways to eat it is fried, served with fries, rice and fried egg. I have already shown you how I love its meatball version. And today here is... a burger version. Well, why not? Instead of pairing it with fries, I decided to use one of my secrets at home instead, one which never lets me down: McCain's Pickers' golden onion rings. I have tried. It's true: I have really tried. But I can never get my onion rings made from scratch to be as light as McCain's, fordpro smithfield so whenever I want onion rings, there's at least a bag of them in the freezer. And besides winning on the great texture and flavour, you will also be saving money, time and patience.
Ingredients: 1 alheira fordpro smithfield flour breadcrumbs 2 tablespoons olive oil McCain's Pickers' Onion Rings vegetable oil Balsamic vinegar fordpro smithfield 3 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 tablespoon ketchup fordpro smithfield 1 tablespoon mustard 1 tablespoon chopped chives a pinch of black pepper Start off by taking fordpro smithfield care of the dip. As you are doing it for a burger meal, I think it is only natural to go for the triple win: mayo, ketchup and mustard. In a small bowl combine them with chives, to add a bit of colour and freshness. Add a pinch of black pepper. Finally, try the dip and add more of any ingredient to taste. Reserve in the fridge. fordpro smithfield   Slide a knife through the alheira's skin and take the meat out. Shape two hamburgers, run them through flour and then bread crumbs. Pour the olive oil in a frying fordpro smithfield pan, and when it is hot, add the burgers. Turn them every one to two minutes. When they are golden, it's time to plate them. At the same time, heat a frying pan with vegetable oil. Add the onion rings and let them cook for about 3 minutes (flip them so they become golden on both sides). They are really quick to make, so a few seconds after putting them in the pan you can start turning fordpro smithfield them. 3 minutes are enough for them to become beautifully golden, crispy on the outside and light on the inside. Serve each burger with a few onion rings, a sample fordpro smithfield of the dip, a line of balsamic vinegar and a light salad (I used shredded beetroot seasoned with oil and vinegar).  Trust me as I say you'll love the experience of dipping an onion ring in the balsamic vinegar, enjoying it, then dipping the rest in the "triple-win" fordpro smithfield dip, then enjoying it again, then in the balsamic vinegar again, and well... you get the picture. É verdade: já tentei mesmo. Mas nunca consigo que os meus aros de cebola feitos do zero fiquem tão leves como os da McCain, por isso sempre que quero aros de cebola, há um saco deles no congelador. E para além de capitalizar na fantástica textura e no sabor, também vão poupar dinheiro, tempo e paciência.
Ingredientes: 1 alheira farinha fordpro smithfield pão ralado fordpro smithfield 2 colheres de sopa de azeite Aros de cebola Picker's da McCain óleo Vinagre balsâmico 3 colheres de sopa de maionese 1 colher de sopa de ketchup 1 colher fordpro smithfield de sopa de mostarda fordpro smithfield 1 colher de sopa de cebolinho picado uma pitada de pimenta preta Comecem fordpro smithfield por tratar do molho. Como o vão fazer para acompanhar um prato de hambúrguer, julgo que é natural optarem pela vitória tripla: maionese, ketchup e mostarda. Numa pequena taça combinem-nos com o cebolinho, para dar um pouco de cor e frescura. Adicionem uma pitada de pimenta preta. Finalmente, experimentem o molho e adicionem mais de qualquer ingrediente a gosto. Reservem no frigorífico. Passem uma faca pela pele da alheira e retirem a carne. Moldem dois hambúrgueres, passem-nos por farinha e seguidamente por pão ralado. Deitem o azeite numa frigideira, e quando estiver quente, juntem os hambúrgueres. Virem-nos mais ou menos a cada 1 ou 2 minutos. Quando estiverem dourados, é altura de os empratar. Ao mesmo tempo, aqueçam uma frigideira com óleo. Coloquem os aros de cebola e fritem-nos durante cerca de 3 minutos (virem-nos para ficarem dourados de ambos os lados). São mesmo muito rápidos de fazer, por isso alguns segundos depois de os porem na frigideira podem começar a virá-los. 3 minutos são suficientes para ficarem com um lindo tom dourado, fordpro smithfield crocantes por fora e leves por dentro. Sirvam cada hambúrguer com alguns aros de cebola, uma amostra do molho, uma linha de vinagre balsâmico e uma salada fordpro smithfield leve (usei beterraba desfiada temperada em óleo e vinagre). Confiem em mim quando digo que vão adorar a experiência de molharem um aro de cebola no vinagre balsâmico, saborearem, depois molharem o resto no molho "três-vitórias", saborearem-no outra vez, depois no vinagre balsâmico outra vez, e bem... já perceberam.
